Insight Global is seeking a LPN / LVN Behavioral Health Supervisor for a job in Lynnwood, Washington.

Job Description & Requirements

Must haves:

  • LPN license in the state of Washington
  • 2+ years of experience as a LPN or related nursing experience
  • Experience as a nursing lead or supervisory position
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing

Nice to haves:

  • Experience in a behavioral health/ substance use recovery environment
  • Experience with MAT (medication-assisted treatment) for opioid use disorder

Day to Day:

The LPN Nursing Supervisor is responsible for directing care for patients, facilitating workflows, serving as a resource for staff, and providing team leadership in an outpatient opioid treatment program (OTP) environment. The LPN Nursing Supervisor maintains standards of professional nursing practice in accordance with clinic policy and procedures.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Ensures that the Medication Room of the clinic is in full compliance with state and federal regulations, CARF standards, and clinic policies and procedures.
  • Supervises daily nursing operations for staff.
  • Makes staff assignments, creates schedules, and updates schedules for providers and support staff when changes are made;
  • Supervises and evaluates work activities of nursing, technical, clerical, service or maintenance staff for the work group and other clinic staff.
  • Ensures that medical records for patients are in compliance with clinic policies, federal and state laws/regulations at all times.
  • Review medical records to ensure medical compliance.
  • Oversee quality assurance activities and compliance to operational standards.
  • Participate in program development or implementation of operating policy and procedures.
  • Promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
  • Assists with the recruitment, hiring and training of new staff.
